Lysyl Endopeptidase (EC 3.4.21.50) belongs to a serine protease that specifically cleaves peptide bonds at the carboxy terminus of lysine residues. Lysyl Endopeptidase is widely used in biopharmaceutical, biological analysis, cell culture and other fields.
This product is a lyophilized powder expressde by recombinant E. coli, freeze-dried by multi-step separation and purification, has the same activity and specificity as natural lysyl endo-enzyme. This product is a biochemical grade genetically engineered enzyme which does not contain enzyme inhibitors such as DFP, PMSF and TLCK. Serine protease inhibitors such as PMSF can inhibit enzyme activity, but metal ion chelators such as EDTA do not inhibit enzyme activity. This product is an unlabeled Lysyl Endopeptidase with the same amino acid sequence as the native Lysyl Endopeptidase.

★ Application

★ Usage method
l It is recommended to dissolve the enzyme using 20mM Tris of pH8-10. Dissolve the protein or peptide in buffer,and adjust the pH to the optimum pH 9.0-10.0,then add Lys-C with ratio of 2~100AU/g peptide or protein and incubate sample for 2~18 hours at 25~ 35°C.
l Precautions:Inorganic salts above 0.1M have a certain effect on the enzyme activity, and it is recommended to carry out the enzyme digestion reaction after desalting. If it is not possible to desalinate, it is recommended to increase the amount of enzyme and extend the digestion time.
★ Stability
l Transport stability:Insulation with ice packs to ensure stable enzyme activity.
l Stored at -15 ° C to -20 °C and can be stable for 24 months. When Tris-HCl buffer is formulated into an enzyme solution,repeated freezing and thawing at -20℃ for 10 times without activity loss, and stable storage for a week at 4℃ and -20℃.
